A Message from Our President
-
As a child, when school would let out, I’d find the quickest way home by going through fields, climbing hills, and crossing rivers like Tarzan, so I could get ready to go out and play.
One time, I screamed as I fell from a tree. As I sat there I felt the sun’s rays coming through the leaves of the trees and felt a calm wind. At that moment I thought to myself, “These are going to be the lasting sources of energy on earth.” I’m grateful to be able to take part in working with renewable energy.
As a baseball playing high schooler I had a dream to participate in the Koshien (Japan’s national high school baseball tournament). After graduating from Yashiro High School, I entered Komazawa University in Tokyo, and got on the baseball team (at the time, Komazawa was the best in Japan for three straight years). After graduating I worked at JA Minori, where I learned about finance and agriculture. Afterwards I was assigned to the Energy Department. Later in life I worked for Iwatani Kinki where I learned about cogeneration and solar energy. About five years ago I went independent t and founded Mackin Energy Japan. Six months later I founded Mackin Energy USA. Currently, I am working on expanding out to other countries, such as the Philippines and Thailand.
